The Retirement System has moved forward with a plan to move all the Medicare-eligible CRS retirees into a Medicare Advantage plan, beginning January 1, 2020. This new plan is called “Anthem Medicare Advantage PPO.”
CRS and Anthem recently held four meetings, where they presented information and answered questions about the new plans. For out-of-towners and others who couldn’t attend, we have this information for you: the powerpoint used for the presentation, an audio recording of the presentation, and a transcript of the Q&A*. We realize this is not the same as having attended the meetings, but it may help answer questions you have about the plan. Also, the CRS and Anthem encouraged members to call Anthem’s “First Impressions Team” phone number with any questions at all about the plan. The number is 1-833-848-8729.
