The city was notified yesterday that the contract dispute between Anthem and Christ Hospital has been settled. Both contracts with Christ have been renewed. The hospital and the Christ Hospital Physicians will remain in-network for those of us covered by CRS healthcare.
This is good news for many retirees! I am glad, on a personal level as well as for my fellow retirees who receive healthcare from the Christ Hospital system. However, I stand by my previous statement that it was not appropriate for Christ to try to create anxiety among us for them to use to their advantage at the negotiating table. Just saying.
